● Thank you to all of the awesome volunteers that worked at the Early College Open House night. We had a record number of families attend and we appreciated the help!

● Do you have overdue library books? Check your school email to see if you do. Remember to bring your books back on time, Mrs. Rediger will appreciate it!!

● Finals are coming, they will be here before you know it?! They will be on March 7th & 8th. Keep up the good study habits!

● Ask your teachers for more information regarding the “Why College is Awesome” essay contest. It is open to all students grades 9-12. The deadline to enter your essays is April 2nd.

● ‘1000 soles’ shoe drive is in full swing and we need your shoes !!!!! Please bring your gently used shoes for any age group, for our school’s competition. Building 50 is competing against each other by grade!! Deposit your shoes in your grade’s bin outside of the main office! The winning grade will win sweet treat. May the best grade win!!

● Have you ever wondered what to do after school? Come join a club!! The poetry club will continue to meet every Monday after school in Mrs. Utley’s room and the MESA club will continue to meet on Tuesdays, at 3:30 pm, in Ms. Carver’s room. Basketball club meets every Tuesday from 3:30-5:00 pm in the gym for all skill levels. Volleyball open gym will continue every Thursday after school at 3:45 pm in the gym. Come join in the fun!!

● Are you interested in engineering, architecture, military, fire fighting, or other construction related fields? Join us for the Willamette Valley Construction Career Day on April 24th. We will take the first 40 students to sign up. Sign-ups are on the outside of Alejandra’s door.

● Just in case you haven’t heard, our winning prom theme for this year will be ‘Captured in a Dream’. We look forward to sharing more information very soon! Save the date, prom is coming on May 5th!!

● Being a Building 50 ROLE Model is easy and fun to do. Being a Building 50 ROLE model is a simple as being:
o Respectful and Responsible,
o On time and Organized
o Listening and Learning and
o Embracing Hard Work.
