● Are you an entertainer or like entertaining a crowd? Our student council is interesting in organizing a Building 50 talent show for this coming April. Please let your student council representative know if you are interested in performing. You could sing a song, play an instrument, read a poem, perform a dance, or lip sync a song!? We are looking for great acts to perform and you don’t want to miss out! You can also stop by the office to sign up today!!

● Interested in a career in criminal justice? If you are a junior or senior, you can sign up for Western Oregon University Criminal Justice Career Day on March 6 th from 10:30 to 2 pm. There will be a career opportunities panel, criminal justice and government careers fair, and a forensic anthropology lab tour and campus tour. Please sign up with Sarah Muir, College and Career Coach by this Wed., February 27th .

● 1000 Soles is in full swing!! Please remember to bring shoes for those in need and put them in the collection boxes around the school! They are looking specifically for rain boots, tennis shoes, or other closed toe shoes. They are also collecting shoe laces, as well. Please no dressy ladies shoes. Look for the collection bins that will be put up in the lobby and around the building. The competition between high schools goes until tomorrow, Feb. 26th.

● There will be an all school assembly this Friday, March 1st. We will be hearing about the prom themes that we will be able to vote on at the end of the assembly. Please check out the main lobby display case to check out which theme you might want to vote on this year?! Prom will be on Saturday, May 4th this year.

● Help support your Senior Class Graduation Party. On Saturday March 9th, at the Lancaster Applebee's between 8:00am-10:00am, Project Grad is having a Flapjack fundraiser for the Class of 2019 senior all night party. Tickets are available at the door for $10, which include Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, milk, juice, and soft drinks. All those that purchase breakfast will have a chance to win a $50 Fred Meyers Gift Card.

● Finals are just around the corner on March 6th and 7th, keep up your hard work and good study habits!

● After your hard work with finals, enjoy a day off on Friday, March 8th and enjoy a long weekend.
