Monday Announcements for October 1st

● Happy Monday!!!!! Heading into week 5, we have good weather and our first official progress grades in sight. Keep pushing yourself to do your best, be here everyday, and be that amazing Building 50 ROLE Model you are.

● PSAT/WorkKeys Day is coming Wednesday Oct 10th.

·         All 9th and 10th graders from ECHS and will be taking the PSAT Assessment

·         All TPP 11th and 12th graders will be taking WorkKeys as part of their advisory and PEP plans.

·         See your AVID/Advisory teacher for more details.

● Do you love to play basketball?  Come to the gym every Monday after school and play ball from 3:30-4:45 pm.

● The ECHS freshman have a field trip coming up to Silver Creek Falls, please get your field trip permission slip turned in to Ms. Carver right away, in order to be able to attend.

● Our Teen Parent students will be having a bus evacuation safety drill on Oct. 8th. Please speak with your bus driver for more information.

● Our first BOOST activity afternoon of the year is coming up on the 10th, I heard a rumor there may be ice cream sundaes involved?  Please sign up soon for the activities that you are interested in!

● Are you interested in fun, hands-on engineering, design, coding or building circuits? Join MESA! See Ms.Carver in room 117 to sign up or get more info. Meetings will be weekly on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 with our first meeting starting October 2nd. All experience levels are welcome!  Come join in!

● Student council applications have been turned in are receipted. Thank you to those students who have applied. We will be announcing the new 18-19 student council members later this week! You will soon hear student council students making the Monday morning announcements!

● There will be no school on Oct. 11th and 12th. The 11th is a grading day and the 12th is a district wide in-service day.

● The drummers will be selling Willamette Valley fruit pies starting on the 12th, to benefit the work they do for our local elementary schools. If your family buys pies for Thanksgiving, please mention our sale, and consider purchasing pies through our drummers here at school this year.  Thank you for supporting our drummers!
