● Welcome to our first full week of the 2018/19 school year!!!!!  Last week was a great way to start your best year yet. As you start off the week, try setting a small goal you wanted to improve upon from last year. By simply working on it throughout the week, you continue your efforts on making it your best school year yet.

● A huge thank you to everyone who has been wearing and displaying your student ID’s? If really does help us know you and for you to know each other. Don’t forget visible is all we ask so this can mean hanging your ID on a lanyard or having it clipped to your shirt/belt.●

Still have some questions about your schedule, classes, or want to double check your path towards graduation. Stop by room 125 to fill out a counselor request form. You will be contacted as soon as possible regarding your request. Do not forget that if you have a schedule or class question to PLEASE follow your printed schedule until you are contracted regarding your request. For course level questions, please submit a schedule request form and talk with the subject teacher regarding your request. Your counselor and teacher will discuss options with you.

● Don’t forget to proudly display your name tents in class. Besides helping the staff learn who you are, it adds some nice bling to your working space. If you are thinking you do not have yours, stop by your AVID/Advisory room or one of the offices to get a new one.

● Interested in helping plan, coordinate and run school events and happenings? Check out being a part of StudentCouncil. Applications are available in the main office and due by Sept. 28th You will soon hear student council students making the Monday morning announcements!

● ECHS AVID Junior Family Nights are coming Tuesday Sept 18th and Thursday Sept 20th. This year we will be scheduling small group meeting with families for all ECHS junior students and families for one of these nights. Junior ECHS students please coordinate with your parents to schedule a time in the main office.

● FAFSA and Oregon Promise night is coming. All TPP and ECHS seniors are encouraged to attend with their parents for this important information and planning session. On Thursday Sept 27th at 6:30 pm staff will be walking you and your family through this process and available for any questions you or they might have.

● A huge thank you to Mr. Clark and all of the performers at last week’s all-school assembly. It was great to see how many awesome activities we have in Building 50. Besides who can beat that attendance video. Oh ya, that is a thing, please see your video production staff if interested in taking on Mr. Clarks challenge to make a better attendance video!

● New week, new goal. How about focusing on one of the Building 50 ROLE Model traits. These are:

o Respectful and Responsible

o On time and Organized

o Listening and Learning

o Embracing Hard Work.
