It is with great pleasure that the staff at Early College High School recognizes Luke Osborne as the Early College High School Student of the Month for September 2014.

Luke has made tremendous growth since last year.  He is no longer the student asking for help, he is the student who provides help. Luke is really focused and contributes well in class. He is willing to share and participates in group activities. Luke gets along well with other students. When Luke makes up his mind to do something, he gets it done, and done well. Luke is an avid reader and is very creative using Sketch Up, a 3-D computer modeling software. Congratulations, Luke!

Engaged. Dedicated. Persistent. Graceful. These are just a few of the word teachers used to describe Teen Parent Program Student of the Month, Jamie Kubishta.

Jamie constantly challenges herself.  She is thriving in the Early College High School program. She uses varied modes of thinking, higher order questioning and advanced problem solving skills. Nothing can make her give up! Jamie sets high goals for herself and for her son. She isn’t just focused on doing the basics to complete high school, she is focused on doing whatever it takes to be successful in life. She is spending extra time in math to ensure she understands the concepts and is ready for the next level. Teachers say she is a bright spot in their morning since she is always smiling.  She is a positive role model for her peers. Jamie, we are proud to recognize you as Teen Parent Program’s Student of the Month for September 2014.

Congratulations Luke and Jamie!
