Monday Announcements:

  • ID’s are cool. We thank you for showing them off in the hallways and during lunch every day.
  • Thank you, Steppan Mendrin and crew, for organizing our first blood drive of the year.  Thank you also to those of you that donated blood, the blood drive wouldn’t be successful without your help and support.
  • Poetry club meets today at 3:35 pm in Mrs. Utley’s room, see you there!
  • The MESA club will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, at 3:30 pm, in Ms. Carver’s room.  
  • T-Shirts & Lanyards- Please consider purchasing a $10 t-shirt or a $3.00 lanyard.  They are fun to wear and would be a great addition to your wardrobe!  See the display in the main lobby!
  • Boo Grams will be on sale NOW!  They will be sold in the lobby until Oct. 27, and the sales will benefit our school’s yearbook.  They will be delivered to the classrooms on Oct. 31st.  
  • Also, add some Harvest Fest bling to your lanyard!  Buy a festive button for only .25 at the boo gram table.  All button proceeds go to our student activities account.
  • Door decorating begins on Tuesday!  Begin your planning today…
  • Pumpkin carving starts today, prepare your winning pumpkin for the Hall of Pumpkins, at the Harvest Fest.
  • There are many meanings to being on time. In Building 50, On time means being in your classroom ready to learn before the tardy bell. Don't forget to take advantage of our 1 minute warning bell reminder to head to class, this is a great reminder to say see you after class!!!
  • We had our first “Friday Night Live!” last Friday in the gym- It was a movie/junk food night. Thank you to all that came, it was a fun evening!!  Our next Friday Night Live will be on Jan. 19th, we will hope to see you all there!
  • Spirit Week is this week!  Crazy Hat/Sox Day, Decade Day, Dress To Impress Day, Twin Day, and PJ Day!!
  • The Literacy Harvest Fest, brought to you by the Teen Parent Program, is this Thursday, Oct. 26th from 5:30-7:00 pm here at the building 50 gym.  All students are invited.  This is a great school tradition and a fun event for all!  
  • We will be having our next student council meeting this Friday, Oct. 27th in Room 156B
  • We would like to congratulate our Crystal Apple Nominee this year, Sean Farmer, he will be honored at the Crystal Apple award night on Nov. 2nd.  Please congratulate him!
  • Western OR and U of O will be here in November to do onsite college admissions, please check with AJ for more details.
  • Our next all school assembly on Nov. 3rd, Mr. Williams will hopefully being playing and singing for us?!  
  • As always thank you for being outstanding Building 50 ROLE Models. Being a ROLE Model is:
