● Are you an entertainer or like entertaining a crowd? Our student council is interesting in organizing a Building 50 talent show for this coming April. Please let your student council representative know if you are interested in performing. You could sing a song, play an instrument, read a poem, perform a dance, or lip sync a song!? We are looking for great acts to perform and you don’t want to miss out! Sign up today!!

● TPP students, this Wednesday Feb 13th, during Wednesday class, there is a Early Childhood/Parent meeting for Early Head Start. Meeting will be held in room 126 beginning at 2:30 pm. Please check-in with childcare, before the meeting, if you have questions.

● It is not too late to purchase your yearbook for this year! You have until Feb. 22 to purchase your yearbook, don’t miss out on this opportunity, get it ordered before it is too late!! The cost is $25.00, order yours today!

● 1000 Soles will be kicking off this Thursday on Feb. 14th. Please remember to bring shoes for those in need! They are looking specifically for rain boots, tennis shoes, or other closed toe shoes. They are also collecting shoe laces, as well. Please no dressy ladies shoes. Look for the collection bins that will be put up in the lobby and around the building. Thank you Kenna Petry, Destiny Goodell, and team for heading up our collection this year! The competition between high schools goes from Feb. 14th- Feb. 26th.

● Teen Parent students- Kindergarten Readiness #2 has been rescheduled, stay tuned for the upcoming dates!

● Do you like exploring new cultures? Do you like KPop, KDramas, or Korean Language? Then come join the new K-CLub. We meet on Thursdays from 3:30-4:15 in the Library. See you there ….

● Have you thought about joining MESA but thought you missed the boat? Now is your chance! See Ms Carver before this Thursday, February 14 th to join MESA for the second half of the year. Learn about engineering and science through fun, hands-on challenges and take your project to compete at MESA Day at Portland State University in May. See Ms Carver for more info or just come to a meeting after school Tuesday to check it out. You don’t need any experience or knowledge! Seriously! Beginners are welcome – see you in 117 on Tuesday!

● Valograms are on sale today through Wednesday, the 13th during both lunches- think now about who’s day you can brighten with a fun val-o-gram!! This year, for an added twist, you will get a raffle ticket for each valogram you purchase that will go in a drawing for cool gift cards! Come buy yours today!

● ECHS students- the annual AVID t-shirt design contest is in full swing. The designs that were submitted by the deadline, will be voted on this week. The winning design will be printed on our AVID t-shirts for all grades!

● Dori Day is coming up on the 20th of Feb.- This is a semi-annual conference for all students in Building 50. Your teachers will be giving you more information, as we get closer to the date. Please mark your calendars!

● Finals are just around the corner on March 6th and 7th, keep up your hard work and good study habits!
