  • Friday Night Live is coming up this coming Friday on Jan. 31st from 7:00-9:00 pm in the gym. Tickets are only $3.00 and will go on sale TODAY until Friday, the 31st during both lunches. It will be a “Winter White Out” glow party, so wear as much white as possible.  Do you remember the giant snowball fight last year? Come this year and make it happen again!! We will also be having a snowman building contest, DJ, cookie decorating, giant games, food, and much much more!! You won’t want to miss it, and we want to see you there!! And just a reminder, ECHS students, this event counts toward your community engagement hours, and TPP and Baker, you have free childcare available!!

  • Are you musical?  Join our Music Club Madness happening every Tuesday from 3:30-4:30 pm in Mrs. Utley’s room.  We are looking for students that sing or play any type of instrument, come on down and join in!!

  • Have you smelled the delicious popcorn being sold in the lobby?  It is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for only .50 cents. Students wanting to participate in the popcorn venture should see Mrs. Caulder to do a short training. ECHS students, we are in need of help during second lunch, did you know you can count this as Community Engagement hours, plus it’s fun!

  • Our next Building 50 Parent Club meeting with Mr. Shreve will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11th at 10:00 am in the library.  Please remind your parents, if they would like to be involved.

  • Phone – Free February in the library. A social experiment is about to begin!  Starting February 3rd, all cellphones and other mobile devices such as Ipads or other  tablets will be off limits while in the library for the entire month of February. Please do not have them out or Mrs. Rediger will ask you to put them away or leave the library -  that includes listening to music. Remember, the hallways have tables and phones can be use there to listen to music, watch videos, play games, be on social media, etc. The library is a place to read, work on assignments with your Chromebook or one of the desktops, research, and print. I know it will be very hard for many of our students, but let’s see if you can leave your phone alone!

  • Come join our crossfit club, it is being held on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 in the gym where Bob will be the supervisor. The club will be working as a group, doing a set workout for the day, which will be planned out beforehand by a fellow student. Please bring a water bottle, along with clothes that are comfortable to workout in, and proper shoes. Everyone is welcome to come to the new club, we hope you will consider joining in!
