Congratulations to the Class of 2022! All your hard work has paid off, and you are now officially high school graduates. We are so proud of you.
The Class of 2022 recently crossed the stage, marking their accomplishment of becoming high school graduates earning their high school diploma or GED. Salem-Keizer Public Schools had more than 2,800 students celebrate this important milestone surrounded by their families, educators, friends and community members that supported them along their path to graduation.Â
The Class of 2022 is a graduating class that proved to be nothing short of remarkable. In 2020, when the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic began, these graduates were sophomores. Now, amidst a global pandemic, through impacts of wildfires, ice storms, comprehensive distance learning, hybrid learning, in-person instruction and for some classes, commencement ceremonies during an atmospheric river, 2022 graduates have continued to show their resilience and dedication to success.Â
As students round out the school year, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the key points of pride to recognize the graduating Class of 2022.Â
