Application Process

Early College High School (ECHS) is a non-traditional school option for students within the Salem-Keizer School District.  In partnership with Chemeketa Community College, Salem-Keizer offers ECHS to students in grades 9-12.  They will enroll in college preparatory high school courses with the expectation of attending CCC classes their junior and/or senior year at the expense of the school district.

In order to be considered for ECHS an applicant must demonstrate passing grades with a C or better, good attendance, and be a positive role model.

Incomplete applications will not be processed

Application Packet

All students interested in participating in ECHS must complete the following forms:

    1. ECHS Student/Parent/Guardian Information
    2. ECHS Student Form
    3. Teacher Recommendation
    4. School Counselor Recommendation

Final Candidates

Final candidates will be asked to complete an on demand quick write and short math assessment.  These assessments will take place on the nights of April 11 and April 13 from 4:30 – 6:30.  You will be contacted by the office to set a time for your student to complete these assessments
